Why am I receiving a new Voter Information Card?
The Orange County Supervisor of Elections office completed the redistricting and re-precincting of the county.
Every active registered voter in Orange County will receive a new Voter Information Card to ensure you have the most accurate information before any upcoming elections.
Who will receive a card?
Every active registered voter in Orange County will receive one. Cards are being mailed in batches of approximately 200,000 each week until all voters have received the new voter information card.
When will I receive my card?
Cards are being mailed in phases over several weeks throughout February and March 2026. If you don’t receive yours right away, it may be in a later mailing batch.
What information is on my Voter Information Card?
Your card includes:
- Your name and address
- Your precinct number
- Your assigned polling location
- Your district information (Congressional, State, County Commission, City, School Board)
- Your party affiliation
- Your voter registration number
A Voter Information Card is for information purposes only.
Do I need this card to vote?
No. You do not need to bring your Voter Information Card with you to vote.
The voter information card is required to be provided to you by law to
- Inform you of your polling location
- Inform you of your district information
- Provide you an opportunity to verify your registration information is correct
What should I do when I receive my card?
Please review it carefully and make sure:
- Your name is spelled correctly
- Your address is correct
- Your party affiliation is accurate
What if I recently moved or changed my name?
You must update your voter registration whenever your:
- Address changes
- Name changes
- Party affiliation changes
You can update your voter registration information online at ww.ocfelections.gov or by calling 407-836-2070.
What happens if I lose this card?
The Voter Information Card cannot be used by someone else to vote. However, it contains personal information, so it’s best to keep it in a safe place or dispose of it securely if you no longer need it.
To receive a replacement card, you may complete a new voter registration application.
Does this change how I vote?
No. What may have changed is where you vote on Election Day due to re-precincting. Voters should take note of the polling place listed on this Voter Information Card.
Why is my polling place different than before?
Polling places can change because of:
- Redistricting/re-precinting
- Facility availability
- Population shifts
- Accessibility improvements
Your new Voter Information Card reflects your correct, current polling location.
What is the QR code on the mailing for?
The QR code allows you to sign up for BallotTrax, a tool that lets you track your vote-by-mail ballot from the time it is printed to when it is accepted.
Is this mailing necessary?
Yes. Florida law requires Supervisor of Elections offices to provide voters with updated registration and precinct information, especially when changes occur due to redistricting or re-precincting.
